WHO’S WHO: Tom’s Diner

OR MASHIAH (Tom) has appeared with Hebrew-language theaters: Habima, Tararam,  Goshen, Kibbutz, Park, National Children’s Theater, Teotronela, Tahel, Clipa, and with English-language theaters: The Guild (The Rainmaker, All My Sons) , Showstoppers, The Perfectly Marvelous Cabaret (ind.).  Training: Beit Zvi Acad., Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway.  Or also plays guitar, piano, and drums.

MIMI TANAMAN (Mary) is part of the Maniact improv troupe.  Active in Israel’s English-language community theatre, The Sharon Players, Mimi has produced, directed, and acted in numerous productions. TV & Screen: Julian Chagrin’s The Orchestra, Love Life, and Ramzor. Mimi started her stage career in Israel as a bluegrass bass player with the The Golden City String Band.


SUSAN HADASH (Mary understudy) has appeared in numerous stage & screen productions in Israel, including Shakespeare Country (TACT/Sharon Players), Papadizi (Menashe Noy/Ouri Sasson), S.O.S. Transplant (Arnon Zadok), TV commercials and promotional media, and with Washington DC’s Interact Theater.  Susan has also performed at various music festivals, including the Abu Gosh Music Festival and Jacob’s Ladder Folk Festival.

SHIRAN GROSS (Gloria) appeared in The Sound of Music (Oded Feldman), Hebrew Theater (Hana Senesh, Ghetto, Children of Shadows), Stage Opening Fest. (Traminus, Humidity Percentage), and Beit Zvi prod.’s (The Father, Chicago, Ding Dong, Hadda Gabler, Brighton Beach Memoirs). Films: Good Morning Dear, The Way Back. Training: Beit Zvi Acad., Haguf School for Phys. Theater.

NOEAT KEDEM (Molly) has extensive Beit Zvi prod. experience: Funny Girl, Antigone, The Philistines, 12 Angry Women, Crime & Punishment, Gameplan, and Come Blow Your Horn. Training:  Beit Zvi Acad.  Noeat also appears in the new [Hebrew] fringe theater production, Go From Your Land.

NITZAN SITZER (Johnny) has performed in countless screen, stage, and animation productions, including The Mikado, Midsummer’s Night DreamDr. Doolittle, Rinat and YoyoMonkey See Monkey Do, as well as his 1-man show, The Knickknack Nook. Nitzan also performs as a storyteller, singer, and mime with The Colorado Symphony, the Haifa Orchestra, and others.

LIANNE RATZERSDORFER (Judy) has appeared in Eng.-language theater prod.’s: The Importance of Being Ernest (J-Town Playhouse), Tweltfth Night (Theatre in the Rough), Fiddler on the Roof (Encore!).  Lianne is a cabaret & burlesque singer, and has appeared in such shows as The Perfectly Marvelous Cabaret and Scandal! (ind.).  Lianne is also 1/2 of the acoustic duo The Underwearwolves, and is skilled at aerial acrobatics.

TAMAR BETTELHEIM (Suzie) has extensive Beit Zvi prod. experience includes Spring Awakening, La Casa De Bernarda, The Pillars of Society, Steal, and West Side Story, and appeared in the Stage Opening Festival with Ground Floor. Training:  Beit Zvi Acad., Telma Yellin National School of the Arts.

Israel-bw-webISRAEL GOLDRAT (Dean) performs with the Israeli Sinfonietta of Beer Sheba, Aya Pluto (Ashrov Prod.), Operation Grandpa (Orna Porat Theater), and Go From Your Land (ind.). Training:  Beit Zvi Academy of Performing Arts, The Five Senses School for Theater.  Israel is also an accomplished break-dancer, and wrestles in the IPWA.

KELLY MICHAELS (Musical Director, Mr.Bailey) literally grew up on stage. He has been artistic and musical director for numerous plays and musicals including Cheaper By The Dozen, South Pacific, The Music Man, Anything Goes, My Fair Lady, and The Mystery at Gallows Green. Kelly composed music & lyrics for the Tom’s Diner theme song. He teaches voice, conducts choirs, and sings lead in the a cappella quartet, Chutzpah!

?????: ???? ???? www.studio-shine.co.ilWENDY LEHMANN (Costume Stylist, Set Designer)  is the owner of House of Colour Israel (color/style/image consultancy).  She has over 25 years experience working in the UK on a range of interior and fashion style projects including work for TV, fashion, and props shoots, event styling and home staging.  Wendy also lectures on personal branding, runs style workshops and undertakes individual personal styling.

YAELLA MARINBERG (Choreographer) is a physical-fitness professional with a background in many forms of dance, and has danced with the Bat Sheva Dance Company.  Training: Beit Zvi Academy of Performing Arts and Wingate Institute. Yaella is also a certified Therapeutic Movement instructor.

MEIRAV ZUR (Writer/Director, Bee) has produced and performed in shows across Israel including The Wink (ind.,Tzavta Theater), TV and film roles, and promotional films. Training: Georgia State University.  Meirav founded English On Stage in 2005, produces special English-language events such as the National Glee Plus Competition, and coaches workshops and classes.
